FAQs about Spider Naevus removal:
How does Spider Naevi Removal work?
Short wave diathermy is a treatment used to lessen the visible appearance of spider veins. We use a fine needle to prick the skin over the spider veins and deliver a controlled electrical current to the vein. This heats the walls, causing them to stick together and seal the vein off from further blood flow.
How many sessions are needed?
The number of sessions needed depends on the spider veins, typically one session and a follow up 4 weeks later will repair the vein.
Is the procedure painful?
Most clients say that the advanced electrolysis procedure is uncomfortable but tolerable and the pain will quickly subside after the procedure.
