Skin Tag Removal

Skin Tags (or verucca filiformi) are a soft, skin-coloured growth that hangs from the surface of the skin. It is attached to your body by a thin piece of tissue called a stalk. They are a problem because the location of the tag may be irritated by the constant rubbing of clothing or jewellery, they can also be located on places like the hands and face where they can be unsightly. They will never go away unless they are removed.

Treatment conducted with “Diathermy” – a form of indirect current. All equipment is sterilised and disposable top- grade needles are used for client protection.

How does Skin Tag removal work?

Skin Tags are removed using short wave diathermy – a form of indirect current. Using a small needle, the current destroys the skin tag and during the healing process it will fall off. A small scab may appear but should fall off within the 4 weeks of healing.

How many sessions are needed?

Typically, one session will remove the skin tag, however, we invite you back in for a follow up session 4 weeks later to make sure it has healed correctly, and the results are as you desired.
