FAQs about Radiofrequency Microneedling:
What can be treated using Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling?
Radiofrequency can help improve a number of skin concerns including wrinkles and fine lines, acne and surgical scars, loose and sagging skin, uneven skin tone and texture, pigmentation, large pores, and a reduction in stretch marks.
How does RF Microneedling work?
Ultra-fine needles penetrate the skin at different depths (depending on the treatment you need) while simultaneously heating the skin, therefore stimulating the body’s natural healing process releasing increased collagen and elastin.
Can RF Microneedling be used on clients of all ages?
Yes, Radiofrequency Microneedling works for all ages – those with younger skin that doesn’t require the same lifting and firming techniques can benefit from having RF Microneedling, where the concern is open pores and an uneven skin texture. Whereas older clients who will benefit from the lifting and firming side to the treatment can also have the RF Microneedling done with different needle depths and radiofrequency intensity to stimulate more collagen production. Treatments are tailored uniquely for all clients based on their skin concerns and age.
How many treatments do I need?
Results can be seen after one treatment, however, to deliver the best results we recommend having 2 to 6 sessions, at 4 week intervals depending on the skin concern.
When will I start to see my results?
You will start to see your results 2-3 weeks post treatment and will continue to see an improvement in your skin in the following weeks. The best results are found 12 weeks after your final treatment.
Is there any downtime?
A slight sweeling and redness may be seen straight after the treatment but should subside quickly leaving you will virtually no downtime.
