How does rosacea removal work?

What causes rosacea?
Rosacea can be caused by sun damage, heat, stress, alcohol, and spicy foods. Triggers can vary in different people; we recommend keeping a ‘trigger diary’ and keep an eye on what causes your rosacea flare ups.
Is rosacea removal painful?
Treatment is mildly uncomfortable but there is no need for anaesthesia and the procedure is actually quite quick. Sensations vary but most describe it as a very quick hot pin prick.
How many sessions are needed?
Typically, 2-3 sessions are needed to dramatically reduce the appearance of rosacea, we recommend on going treatments to keep the flare ups from happening – especially if you are undergoing stress.
Are the results immediate?
Laser will immediately reduce the inflammation and help calm the skin down, but also help to strengthen the skin so that hormonal changes cannot trigger a flare up.
Is there any downtime?
There isn’t any downtime with the laser treatment – some swelling or blistering can occur but is very unlikely.
