How does the Promax Body treatment work?

The Promax Lipo is a totally non-invasive treatment to rid unwanted body fat and reduce body circumference. Promax Lipo uses ultrasound waves to selectively target fat cells without affecting neighbouring tissue. The fat cells become more permeable after treatment which allows transport of triglycerides (fat) out of the cell. The triglycerides are then removed via the body’s own immune cells over the following two to three months. The heat will make the triglycerides in the fat cell softer so they can start to be broken down. Cellulite often contains many toxins in the area due to the clustered fat cells. This helps with the removal of the softened fat and with connective tissue which can be too short and pull the skin down, making it look more ‘dimpled’. Finally, it will stimulate some collagen and tighten the skin, which will also help improve the appearance.

How many sessions are needed?

Clients are advised to have two treatments per week for maximum effect, taking a course of 8 treatments. You can have up to two A4 size areas treated per session.

What areas of the body can be treated?

The treatment is suitable for the abdomen, the backs of thighs, the buttocks area, and upper arms too!
